of the majestic Mount Meru in a town called Arusha,
we embark on exciting adventures throughout Tanzania
in our open 4 x 4 Toyota Landcruisers.

Hosted by Tanzanian born Tom Lithgow, each safari into
Tanzania’s pristine National Park is a unique
experience. Firelight Safaris tailors its itineraries
according to the wishes of each small group of between
4 and 14 guests. Every need is anticipated, Every comfort
provided. Tenting in Tanzania with Firelight Safaris
is a luxurious adventure. Spacious tents each with its
own screened in verandah. King sized or single beds,
duvets, Hot showers. Cold drinks (always plenty of ice!).
Fully stocked bar, Wedgewood china. Silverware. Civility.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you are met at the
airport and escorted until your adventure is complete.

feel at ease. Tom Lithgow, the owner and an experienced
bushman himself, is the main tour guide on most camping
safaris. He can be booked as the guide for your lodge
safari if available. Having been born in Arusha and
brought up in a safari family, he has lived many years
in and out of the bush, his knowledge of wildlife and
the people is vast. His wife, Belinda, who herself has
lived many years in Africa, organizes the smooth running
of the whole adventure.
